About Great Range DJ Service
Greater Range DJ Service is small, DJ owned and operated business in the Denver area. We are small enough to provide attentive customer service at an affordable price, yet experienced enough to deliver high quality services and a memorable experience. We are among the most affordable services in Denver because we have low overhead, work the events ourselves and own the equipment outright. We only accept a limited number of bookings a month.
We are not the DJ service that talks non-stop all night. And you will not find us out on the dance floor making fools of ourselves. Your event is a classy affair. We promise to behave ourselves and blend in.
Each event is covered by Brent Nicholas and Amy Brokaw, partners in the company, and we are the only two people you will ever work with. Working as a team, one person monitors the equipment, while the other person makes sure the activities take place in a timely manner, and coordinates between the bridal party, the facility and your photographer. This also helps the transition between sound support when covering both wedding ceremonies and receptions at two different locations onsite.
We’ve been in operation for three years, and have provided DJ and MC services for over 30 events, including weddings, receptions, banquets, parties and corporate events. We take pride in our services and work hard to ensure your event runs smoothly.
Brent Nicholas
Brent has over 20 years working in event production, starting as a student in High School, and continuing through numerous music events and concerts around Detroit and Denver. He holds a degree in aviation electronics, that aids his knowledge of the equipment and ability to trouble-shoot and find solutions as needed. He has worked as a professional event DJ for the four years. He is organized, efficient and an excellent MC.
Amy Brokaw
Amy started DJing events with Brent 3 years ago. Before that she provided support to numerous music festivals and musical events throughout Lansing and Detroit, Michigan. She has an ear for music and wide knowledge of what’s appropriate for multiple generations.
